Set in the heart of the Cambridge close to Newnham and its colleges. This impressive project started out for CD Hood as a project to extend this already substantial and significant property for visionary clients.
Being set in this location required sympathetic and thoughtful management as this project developed and progressed into a full-scale refurbishment of the property almost quadrupling in value as our clients pursued and succeeded in their goal of creating an enviable home with exquisite fittings and fixtures and items of unique design and quality.
Our workforce and supply chain offered advice and expertise working closely with the client and Project Manager to deliver this project to the very high standards not only of our client but that which we set ourselves.
The final project involved individual elements exclusive to this property such as
- Bespoke staircase with cut strings and carved handrails
- New Oak Loggia roof featuring lead and glass coverings
- External hard landscaping to compliment the new swimming pool
- Extensive bespoke cabinetry
- Complete re-roof and chimney refurbishment
