St Peter’s Terrace – Cambridge
Working with Peterhouse the oldest College in the University of Cambridge we were delighted to engage again with Bidwells of Cambridge to execute the refurbishment of these listed Georgian townhouses dating back to circa 1850.
Construction works on any listed building must be sensitively handled with experienced and knowledgeable craftsmen and our operatives and local supply chain were able to deliver these skills and ensure this project was a success.
Carried out over 16 weeks in time for the start of the new College academic year the support of the Project Management team and Client we crucial for successful delivery.
The project over 5 levels included refurbishing traditional Gyp Rooms along, new shower rooms, complete re-decoration and flooring to over 30 areas.
We also carried out structural repairs and new electrical and heating installations including new heating plant.
Extensive repairs were carried out to existing traditional sliding sash windows prior to decoration and traditional plaster coving repairs were undertaken by local specialists in this work.
