St. Christopher Junior School Works – Letchworth
CD Hood was commissioned to refurbish and develop several classrooms & staffroom to the junior school in the summer of 2017 .
Working to a very busy programme , we Removed the original suspended ceilings to open up the large vaulted areas above and proceeded to fire rate the existing structure , introduce fire rated insulation , carry out unforeseen structural works .
The project included new kitchen /play areas , replacement of doors to fire rated veneer finished doors .
The management of the M&E upgrading works , full decoration and the re enhancing of the traditional parquet flooring and the installation of the purpose made windows and doors
